Someone put me on to videos of this guy.   A little disturbing to watch if you are scared of heights.    Whole series of absolutely fascinating videos about this amazing fellow, well worth watching

and no whso about ,it would create nightmares for those involved in "safety" he had no harness and was not hooked up to any safety hooks ,seems like very capable guy  ,not my cup of tea ,about 1 story on ladder for me now ,my pins are not that strong

Fred Dibnah's chimney stack demolitions, utilising just a stack of wooden props, then a pile of rubbish that he sets fire to, are amazing to watch. He dropped chimney stacks precisely where they were supposed to go, every time.

 

The old fella has passed on now, we won't see his likes again, too much overwhelming OH&S, pollution laws, and more precise explosive demolition.
