I wonder how all the Dan supporters are feeling now, still feeling the love are we?

Some years ago a friend of mine had a large stone fruit farm up near Lake Makoan in Victoria,he had his fruit on wire vines aggressively pruned to produce small amounts of fruit per tree root but large in size. I'd never seen this before but he said ALL of his fruit went OS, none made it to market here as he got considerably more $$$ from OS buyers! He's now long gone sadly as is his once magnificent fruit farm (due to our wonderful corrupt Govt) on the edge of the lake, as well as his PA39 & C210, loved flying them both🛩👍

We are all guilty of buying non Aussie goods/devices. It's all about choice, we have little choice by way of Made in Oz these days and it's getting worse with virtually no manufacturing of any substance in our own country, & the way grubby Andrews is going we won't even have a viable coffee shop open in Melbourne!

I only ever got the chance to experience the mine type donga living once many years ago at Roxby Downs (YOLD). I was flying engineers in and out day and night for a few weeks so got to stay at one of their dongas dur G the day. Pretty flash, roomy one person per room. Man the facilities there where incredible! Food, steaks any kind of meat or fish you wanted 24/7. Swimming pool, gym, games room, TV rooms with hundreds of VHS tapes, best short term gig I ever had, accept for the 50deg at the drome and the bloody flies!

The stupidity of our draconian Govt knows no bounds as I found out today. A mate of mine has an auto repair shop 500 k's Nth of Adelaide close to a popular tourist spot, he is flat out with work backing up cause his two mechanics are off sick ( no not the BUll shit Covid either) so I said look into me coming over for a month or so to help out (ex Mot Mech). Here's the rub. I have to get tested first and stay home till I get a neg result, I live solo in a Vict country town where there are NO Covid cases. If I test neg I can travel, I get the result on the day I fly over (own plane) direct to his several hundred acre property with strip. He lives alone. I then arrive have to get tested again and have to quarantine for 14 days regardless, he has to also if I stay at his property. If clear I work for him. On return reverse the bullshit! Unbelievable! Is it any wonder we live in such a f***ed country!

Watched "Sully" the move last night, only about the third time I've seen it. Whilst the story behind the movie is amazing personally I found Clint Eastwoods version of events hard to watch. It's storyline is all over the shop and there are so many inacurancies in it that it made me realise that 'Hollywood' really is a make believe false place!

I've lived on a property for many years, one gets smart and never relies on our useless utilities! I have a back up generator as well, several battery operated lights and a radio, the latter very important for news broadcasts. Both gas & elect for cooking as well as a well stocked freezer. We don't have to rely on power just cleverness👍

A break in the WX means I've been adding pollution to our atmosphere👍 A daily walk, some gardening & catching up on chores that have been let go for too long. Still very quiet up there, am getting used to seeing just eagles and other various winged wildlife sharing the airspace & not caring about the crazy lockdown😉

Nobody owns this land, we might think we do, it can be taken away from us at any time, we are only passing thru as custodians till the next tribe! Even the Abo's where new comers once upon a time!

I'm suggesting dictator Dan has his sheeple well and truly bluffed! I'm still waiting for all the bodies to be piling up in our streets! By that grubs accounts the bodies ought to consist of healthy people who didn't even know they had the virus till they got tested!

Red the grub is like Teflon, nothing sticks to him despite his incredible draconian destroying actions! There would be many 1000's out there suffering ! I feel for people like you, we can only hope one day he falls and falls big time! something to ponder over!
