  1. The best tow vehicles have a short distance from the tow bar to the rear wheels compared to the wheelbase and generally good handling. The short rear dimension means that the trailer can't easily push the car around and affect the handling. In this sence the older Land Rover discoveries were good. Not sure about the current ones as I haven't driven one.
  2. If sales went up why are the tobacco companies pushing to have the law reversed?
  3. I love how everyone here is an instant critic. Here is the link to the website of the company that supplies the balls. They have a useful FAQ section that will provide some answers for you. http://eccllc.us/products/hollow-balls/
  4. Mount Panorama is a well known location for the police to issue speeding fines. If you have an otherwise clean driving record have a read here: http://www.sdro.nsw.gov.au/lib/docs/misc/br_001.pdf If you don't have any other offences for a period of time (5 or 10 years i cant remember) you just ring the SDRO call center and they will usually downgrade the fine to a caution and no points provided it wasnt in a school zone or in some other way very dangerous.
  5. I don't think that its a case of bad design but a deliberate decision. The cars can be disconnected usually for about 5 minutes. Disconnecting the battery for more than 5 minutes is a way of forcing a full reset.
  6. I think that the issue is that the computer that controls the injection has lost its parameters. Warm the engine up and take the car for a drive. After a bit you will likely find that the roughness will go away as the sensors are able to "relearn" the correct settings. In the future it is best not to disconnect a battery in this for a long period. Swap a battery over any it remembers the settings, leave it for too long and everything is reset.
  7. It is possible to do. Most of these NAS devices are running linux and you can connect to them via SSH. Without knowing which type of NAS you have it is hard to give definite guidance but here is a link to how it could be done. http://www.fajo.de/main/faq/thecus/How_to_remotely_shut_down_the_NAS_573
