OLD cold fired power stations can never be reliable but at their stage they produce the cheapest power they ever can as their capital is completely amortised. It's still higher than solar and they are dirty. Even their ash is polluting Lake Macquarie.

Surely that type of name calling is "childish"? Sco Mo is what Morrison called himself because he worked out it would appeal to young people. . He hated "Scotty FROM Marketing". Nev

It's a frame up and anyone with eyes can see it. Dutton can't stand being beaten by Albanese at Question time. Actually it's Misleading the Parliament DELIBERATELY when it's broadcast nationwide. Albanese at no time was addressing Michelle Landry in a derogatory way and she like many others thought it was a bit of a joke . Albos shot was squarely aimed at Duttons INTERJECTIONS and only corrected his errors..Nev

80K Kms Correction.

I hear many reports of people doing such things and its criminal. I have an acquaintance who services really expensive cars and one Ferrari at 80Kms had not had the original oil filter replaced although it had been listed as done. It required removing a lot of stuff to access it, so people didn't bother. This guy doesn't have a lot of time for most of these brands but now does them for some dealers. I'd be Pi$$d off if This happened to me as you do your best to have it properly serviced and THAT happens. Nev

Nice animals and weird people at Flemington. I usually watch the Melbourne Cup. It's traditionally been the "Race Australia Stops for" But I've never been to one horse race in person and only you people know I watched it OK? Nev

Lot of off road types involved some with tyres that don't suit wet tar hot mix roads and they are more top heavy and the road is crowned to get the water off. Driving too fast for the conditions. Nev

NONE of us are even 1/2 way to the south pole. Look at the temperatures they go down to in Canada or Siberia. One thing for sure is the % of CO2 is increasing fast and the oceans are more acidic. Methane is a shorter lived problem but more pronounced in the short term. IF the Himalayan ice melts there won't be enough food for 1/3rd of the Worlds population. That's why China 's seeking food security. as well as other materials. Nev

Black ice matters. You can't get a grip on it. Nev

Years ago I used to get frost here in November and again in early February. Could not grow tomatoes, spuds pumpkin or cucumbers. I'd also get Ice on the dam thick enough to take my weight near the edges (just). NEVER see those things now. Pipes used to freeze in the walls. Used to get snow. . Nev

A lot of professing religious people just do NOT do "Nice" things. and those NOT NICE things are done in the name of their GOD. I WAS a very religious person in my late teens but realised that you could THINK with your brain OR "Believe". One or the other. so I was agnostic (fence sitting) which is really a "having it both ways" thing. NOW I'm Atheist which most religions love to HATE. It takes a lot of time to get the indoctrination out of your head. (Or the Monkey off your Back) but I'm very comfortable with it logically now and can consider things more freely and not be so doctrinal. Do unto others what you would accept done to yourself is a good enough moral position.. Nev
