  2. I really ought to add, that my neighbours were no rapt with the amount of TV interference this gear created while I was chatting to blokes in Japan, etc. . .. . . ..
  3. When I was 'Hamming' about in Australia, I saw a Hallicrafters Receiver at a radio Junk fair, and found a transmitter to go with it some time later. . . But as you mentioned, I had problems finding replacement valves for Both units, although while they worked, they were quite good for old stuff.
