  2. Come on, they had to change the name to suit the TV shows. I think Leather Jackets, Hats and Riding Boots and heaps of stuff on the utility belt - WOW
  3. They're all a smug bunch of ar5oles rorting the system. I work for myself, when I go away I receive calls and answer emails 7 days a week. Under their ideology I should be able to at least claim my holiday expenses on my tax. What a bunch of ar5eholes.
  4. When the anologue mobile phones were around, You'll remember the number started 018 or 019, I was using a scanner from tricky dickey and heard some very raunchy conversations. I could hear both parties.

  6. Language is constantly evolving, a good listen is Prof. Rolly Sussex on the 'Wireless' ABC Brisbane Thursdays 2pm (QLD time) 612 am or live streaming. For you Phil, sessions available on podcast. https://www.google.com.au/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=roly sussex
  7. Well the event has finally passed and the total here in Burpengary (10km south of Caboolture) for the 2 days is 386mm. 15.5 inches on the old scale. No wind left in the old girl by the time she got here.
  8. Look out, the Ranga is back http://www.abc.net.au/news/qld-election-2015/guide/lock/
  9. In my opinion the best we can hope for is 43 seats to ALP requiring 2 votes for decision (come in KAP), if 44 seats then only need to sway IND Wellington for decisions. If 45 or more than .........
  10. Many businesses you ring these days start with a message that they "are experiencing a larger than usual number of calls, but your call is important to us, don't hang up, we will answer your call as soon as possible" (this message never changes, they think the public are idiots). Once upon a time businesses used to employ sufficient staff to handle the level of enquiry.
  11. The SIM has a ph number allocated but when used in the ipad only data is used.
  12. Another benefit. if you have a sim iPad you can buy 500mb for 5 days for $10 to go on that flight then leave dormant till next flight although if you don't use it for an extended period it may cease, need to clarify when you ring.
  13. Yes you have to renew monthly but to save $60 a month off Telstra's own product I can do that, you do receive an sms a couple days prior. Pay on website, if you choose the payment details can be held and protected by a pin. The Boost is 3G and does use ALL Telsta's assets/towers.
  14. Unlimited to Mobile and land lines and full Telstra Network. I am told the ALDI plan also with Telstra does not utilise all Telstra Towers more just Hi Density areas ???? http://www.boost.com.au/Home.aspx?gclid=CPLDy8qtz70CFcFhpQodPHYAow
  15. Use Telstra Boost (google it), Unlimited calls and text and 2gig date on Telstra Network - $40 p/mth - sweet:oh yeah:
