Ok, thanks. I shall try to get a couple of frames up so you can see. But ITMT, if anyone is that "interested"/bored, it was Season 2 episode 3. The most crutial game. If you watch the begining, they show clips from the episode. About 15 seconds in you see the plane landing.

Yeah, showing my age. I shall try to go back and get a clip or more details, but while it is in my mind, I thought I should throw the question out there: In one of the episodes, someone was flying back to LA on a commercial jet. There was a bit of "stock footage" of a plane landing. Camera under the plane, and looking forward. Here is the "problem": The wheels came out and twisted the tiers. That's ok. But when it touched down, the FRONT wheels went down first! Keh?! Which commercial operator would land nose wheels first?

I'm not dwelling on the person or the event - as such. I too have moved on WRT them, but would like my things back. I am in the process of working out the mechanics of getting to grips with what happened. To wit, I shall hope to use these events as experience, and use them to help me avoid such things happening to me again.

I hope it isn't that they "don't want to be found" but more: I am done with this one and moving on to....... So a bit of research will/probably/may find said person. I guess I am at the point where I need to work out the value/cost of finding them. Which only I can determine.

Ah, ok. I shall have to look into it a bit more. So reading it, I download a bit of their software and run that.... and so on. It is kind of good that there is a "Free" option as I really hope this is the only time I need to do this. It is semi against my beliefs. But, situations and circumstances dictate that things have to be done.

kaz, Yes this has been explained to me, but "my side" of it is that I loaned them the item with the understanding it would be returned to me (not in 50 years). The person had every chance to return the timer to me back in November, but didn't. So they KNOWINGLY didn't return it, and when we spoke on the phone I didn't want to make a bad thing worse, so I didn't mention it at the time. Legal aid say they can mediate the dispute (even over the phone) for FREE and it would be a sort of informal thing. But they need an address. To get an address, I need to make things somewhat formal and I really don't want to take it there. However, if they keep playing this "game"/scenario towards me, I am left with fewer and fewer options. So I just see it strange that even the system seems to want things to go down that route. But thanks for the feedback.

Update: Rang a couple of companies. $$$$. One did say that it COULD constitute THEFT and the police COULD be involved. Speaking to the police, they say it is a CIVIL matter and don't want to know about it. Legal aide need an address to send the "summons" to and can't act until I have an address. So it would seem that there is a big loop hole in the system.

LJS, Nice. I'll look into that. Do you have any info on the FREE one? Did a quick look at the website you mentioned.

I have found a Facebook page and their details, but no address. Like most people these days, the jobs/cred's/etc are ONLINE. Applications etc are online. So there is no address. WRT electoral roll, I spoke to them and they told me I am not allowed to look up other people's names. Also, they may not be in Sydney. Probably Melb'. Nothing in/on white pages. They have a "pre-pay" mobile, so that is a long stretch. Still sniffing, but the trail is kind of going stale.

Alas I am not in facebook. Likedin has been looked at, but to no advantage. Shall keep sniffing around. Thanks folks.

Yeah alas no rego. PD's are a bit extreme at this stage. It is just weird that without an address, the legal system hasn't realised the problems with this "inter-web" thing yet. People don't need to put addresses on their job applications, etc. it is all done via the web.

Folks, I'm "stuck". I loaned someon something last year. It was a LOAN. Towards the end of the year, they tol me they were going away for "break". I asked when they would be back, and didn't get an answer. 6 months later I finally got in touch with them, and when they realised it was me, "the guns came out" and they pretty well read me the riot act. Suffice to say they are not in Sydney any more - or so they say. All I have is their name and phone number. The legal system requires me to supply them with an ADDRESS before they will take action. I seem to be at an impass how to get things to the next step. Anyone?

Hi folks. I am doing some puzzles to keep the old cogs turning. I am stuck on this one: Pyramid of squares. 1,2,3,4 numbers. Line 1: 168 Lin3 2: 12, 14 Line 3: ?, 2, ? Line 4: ? 2, 1, ? Now, ? can only be 0 to 9. I think I see the pattern: 168 1 2* 14 = 168. But am stuck on the missing 4 numbers. Anyone?

Hi again folks. Um, just to check - again: Granted I asked about SG in the beginning, but now it has short of changed to PH. My poor fish is not in a good way. Other people in a betta fish forum said I need to also check the PH levels. I parted with more money and bought a "fish water PH system". I am sure they see me walking the door. A little vile, 2 powders and a bottle of "stuff". I put a bit of water in the vile - to the line - and add 5 drops of "stuff" and watch the colour. I want a PH of about a blue-ish colour on the colour bars. My water was a bit on the far BLUE side of things. NOT navy blue, but more blue than the suggested PH colour. Reading the instructions, I added a wee bit of powder from the YELLOW bottle - to increase the PH level and added it to the tank. Today, a day after the poor fish's tail is not looking good! It looks "burnt" So I quickly added some bi-carb to some water and mixed that in. Not all, but I hope enough to get the PH level back to where it should be. So: The question now is (sorry if it is a repeat - CRAFT disease) if I am wanting a bit of a 7 - 7.4 PH, would a car battery PH tester have that range?

Luckily for me: I don't have any. The ball I have now got is aluminium. So I hoope it won't break if dropped.

Turbo' Don't worry. It is a FIGHTING FISH. They can breath air like us. He is ALONE in a 4 Litre tank. There is air enough for him as it is. The mod' I did with the hose from the output of the pump will aerate the water enough for his needs. Now he is not being blow around like the ping pong ball I mentioned earlier. Problem may be now resolved. Got a piece of 8mm plastic pipe. Made a few holes along it and put it on the pump's output. Turned it SLIGHTLY up so the end of the pipe is making an arch above the water. The "extra" pressure is vented along the length of the pipe and so the "wash" from the pump is reduced and distributed all over the tank more evenly. The arch above the water surface shall help with aeration of the water as well. The fish doesn't seem as freaked as he was when there was nothing on the pump's output. Time will tell.

It is a fighting fish. The pump supplied circulates water past an anaerobic filter to "clean" the water. NOT aerate it. I am actually now working on adding a SMALL pipe to the output to suck air into the flow and help aerate it. But that is (Now) a whole other problem.

Gee Phil, thanks. But it seems toooooooooooooo complicated. It is only for a fish tank. (4.5L at that.) The fish seems happy enough.
