Forgot to mention a wallet full of money spinning to.

I have been attacked !! My laptop has been caught by malware and all my files have been ecrypted and a ransom has been demanded. Lucky for me it is my old machine and has nothing important on it so I am currently running dban to kill it off. So just a warning, there is a bad one going around.

Good you found someone, next time don't respond with an attitude when people offer other suggestions, and don't expect someone to drop everything and do it for you on the spot. I offered to help, but it was not going to be done within 5 minutes! The thing I love about this forum is people offering suggestions to help other members out, what I don't like is when people get "shot down" for offering a suggestion. I offered to help but you just made a "to smart for his own good comment" because I did not respond with your impatience so people like you do not deserve the help and I would not waste my time, I know there are other members within this forum that appreciates other members suggestions and assistance. No I am not attacking you, I just take offence to people like you. That is it for me on this topic......

Nice thing to say about someone who was going to help you. I asked you a question and you never responded to my post. I asked this "How much needs translated and how quick do you need it? " You never replied, so I assumed you didn't want it. I have been away on a trip, only just got wifi !!! Some people just expect people to drop everything and respond to them, I don't sit in front of the internet 24/7, I do have a life.

He is annoyed because we suggested he try google translator as it may be quicker for him, he then said he said translators would not work as he already said that, however that was not mentioned in the first post. I did offer to help him and asked him how much does he need translated and how quick he needs it then he pulled the pin.. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Ey? I offered to help you, oh in my first post I said it in German. And myself and pmccarthy suggested you may like to try google translator as it is good these days, we didn't say go use it. pmccarthy was only suggesting you may like to try that. I think the problem is more on your end as both of us offered a suggestion and you fobbed us off.

If you need audio translated can do it, otherwise as mentioned google translator

Agree... I got a new external hard drive today and it syncs with dropbox so for $140 a year I can have a 1TB drop box account. So will have a drop box app on the laptop that syncs with the account when im on wifi, then when I plug in my external hard drive it will shadow a second copy onto the external. So in a way its backed up in 3 locations automatically.

I think I have decided the best is to store them on the laptop and have a secondary external hard drive, one in a million for both to fail at the same time.
