Xmas eight years ago.. I bought my wife a new Kenwood chef mixer. I Hid it away to only to spot a second hand one she had bought on eBay in the kitchen on Christmas Eve. My comment of "that's why women shouldn't have their own money" did not help my cause.

Ah but did you know they were both 'Burma railroad' survivors.. Interviewed them as part of a History project towards the end of high school.

They also have a water proof andriod phone.. :) 1m for 30mins. IP68 rating I suspect. Phone thickness is around 14mm for the SLR version with interchangable lenses. Not expected in Australia (cost US$1800).

New Sony phone is awesome. Full 12mp SLR with a android phone attached. :)
