Taiwan has set the world standard for responding. They’d already flagged flights out of Wuhan region at the end of 2019 for extra testing. I was living here back during the SARS epidemic and it’s definitely a scary repeat. This time they’ve learned and acted fast. Most gyms, government departments and work places test your temperature then you hand sanitize. Took this pic last night at the entry to a local department store. (Not sure why she’s sideways. She didn’t start out that way)

God does seem a little needy. Amongst the 5,000 or so versions there’s got to be a few who are a little less self absorbed and you’d consider make friends with on Facebook.

Definitely don’t warm the seat! That button is switched off. Yes on masks. I think they are mostly worn here/ Asia as a peer group pressure thing. You’re not being a good member of the community if not masked up. I’m very happy with all the masks and it’s almost certainly good protection for everyone else when you think about the no symptom transmission.

This is my Taiwan apartment Japanese toilet. Button I’m pointing to is blow dry. No toilet paper required. No idea why we don’t have these. Asians must think we are very unhygienic when they visit. Taiwan seems safer than Australia right now. I cancelled Phillipines ultralight flying planned for this week. It does seem prudent to minimise travel. Bugger really, I was looking forward to solo in the ultralight. Phillipino instructor wouldn’t be able to hit me as a bonus. He’s a really good guy, it’s just a different cultural approach. I did figure if he’s hitting my right leg that hard then I muster truly need more right rudder. Back to virus... Taiwan they spray your hands on entry to supermarket. They take your temperature on entry to gym and almost All wear masks in public. I’m thinking Taiwan right now is safer than Australia!
