  1. That shows how far young people will go to try and avoid extra work! I find that hard to believe when I, a 14 year old public high-school student, has written many...
  2. Talking about school subjects is interesting because I feel that way about all the "wellness" subjects at my school. I can understand that having one of these subjects could be worthwhile for someone planning to play or teach sport as a career, but having about 6 or 7 as my school does, seems a bit ridiculous to me. There's Wellness Recreation, Full-on Fitness, Racquet Sports, Team Sports for Boys/Girls and Self-defence for Boys/Girls.

  4. I have to admit that I'm guilty of that. And a lot of other things...
  5. I understand that some people have reasonable excuses to use text language. It's when it's completely unnecessary that it annoys me. If I text a friend in the late afternoon, they'll most likely be in the middle of a movie or video game, not a situation where should have to reply in 2 and 3 letter words.
  6. Careful what you guys say about us kids :-D I agree though as most of my mates reply to me in "text-language". Even when I do understand them, I find it mildly annoying that they fail to spend a few more seconds completing words. Just like they probably think I'm an idiot for writing out whole words...
  7. Yeah, this annoys me too! Especially when they're of planes with beautiful radial engines, models or full-scale. Tom
  8. We don't, only mainlanders or just Australians :-) I'm in southern Tassie though (near Hobart) so maybe Launcestonians are the guilty ones? Tom
