I think that a problem we have at present in forming opinions about the situation impacting Israel at present is that we only seem to be aware of what has happened over rthe past few years. This thing has been going on since 1946. Fro decades in Australia we knew very little of what was happening because what was happeniung didn't impact us. So, to bettwen inform our current opinions, we must look back into history to see what was going on in those years and how it was affecting the people involved.

 

The attached video was made by the United Nations in 1978, focusing on how those events involved created the conditions which exist into the Present. The video focusses on the Palestinians. I think it is pretty even-handed - lacking great bias. I think it is well worth the watching as an aid to the creation of your opinion. You can be sympathetic or not to the story, as long as watching it helps you wirth your opinion.
