  1. For sure , lf l didn't do that l'd be married again right now butttt, as it turned out thank the Gods l did on that one.
  2. Yeah agree. Was married a long time, would prefer it , right woman. Could've remarried a few times so far , wrong woman, no thx.
  3. One problem, l'm getting indecision again. They say keep emotion out of business decisions but whenever l come back here for a bit especially if l do any work on it, l start falling inlove with it again- damn it. ld bloody know. lt's just such a nice block and spot , you even start enjoying just being in the quiet tiny town - that depresses me at first , it comes and goes , but then you start to see people just doing their thing out here peacefully going about their life. Often relate it to the rest of the world going so crazy these days but then there's this place. Forget it all. But then financially to, it'd just be so much bloody easier l'd be set just stayng put and just extend, which l can cover myself. Living scott free no bills peaceful and in a lovely spot. l can hardly even afford something better either but staying l'd be set. Damn it. lt's just the long term thing though, practicality. But then people do that all the time, even on huge farms. Gonna be harder later, especially the driving, and there's no services for miles, ldbloody know. Plenty of older people here, spose they're mostly married and stuff though too, family, l'm not any more though so alone makes later a bit harder l guess to.
  4. Haaaa, isn't that typical eh. You try make it look nice but then they go change it anyway.lt's like damned if you do or don't. l love the cedar myself it's my fav. This is only a cabin mind you not some big house but it was cedar 15yrs but when the last guy moved off l had the brainstorm to paint it grey, hate it. Just thought a buyer might prefer as greys so trendy atm it but they'll prob come along and paint it bloody cedar ha ha. But yeah, went to look at a block last week they had a really nice gateway, thinking of maybe doing that just to make it look nicer and so more tempting, fair bit of work though and a few bucks. Well that blocks been up for sale over 12mths, block up the road here had an old wire gate falling off and sold in 3wks sooooo, damned if l know. This areas normally hard to sell blocks alone and there's a heap of them come up for sale atm so l don't wanna do much but good if l can stand it out a bit. But then mine has the cabin, that's a huge plus so hopefully that gets it done , the others are just bare land. Same with trees, l love my trees, l've planted all my trees mine was just this bare to back when but ha, bet you a buyer cuts them all down. But then the next guy will buy one of the bare blocks and plant bloody trees right.
  5. So what place are you on now ? , just wondering as per my own situation is all. Ah mate, wouldn't pour that stuff into my beautiful soil but you can get cheap as biodegradable weed spray 10bucks bunnings, good stuff.
  6. Are you still on that place nev or ? How close to towns l forget ? Got a misses ? , forget that to. At anyrate so you gonna stay put till they cart you out or ? But yeah , l hear ya, he made great potty mix for his dope plants and did great driveways and drainage, can say that my much for sure. The front strip and entrance are absolutely unreal now . The drive up to cabin/house, would be ok, it the stones didn't keep disappearing. Just needs the proper layers l think. When it's wet you actually slip on the grass itself it's like thick as you finger wheels just spin on it. And that's after God knows how many trailer loads of crushed rock over the yrs, just keeps growing back. But yeah, needs the layers apparently .
  7. She'll b right nev. Guy renting the place had tractors and crap day in and out, God he was a nightmare that bloke. Mind you , with all his machinery he did totally redo and repipe that entrance itself into this ripper 5mtr wide thing though, did a great job of that must admit. Down the front use to get pretty boggy to but he also machined all that strip and fixed the drainage, stays nice and dry now. Drive upto cabin part though, def needs some love. It's on a slope doesn't bog up but does get slippery bc of the slope.
  8. Yeah , originally l just brought back small trailer loads of that say 1/2 crushed rocked l think it's called. But apparently that will just disappear and it bloody has too. Told you gotta put layers, of bigger then medium and then the small stuff. Bit of an art the old driveways.
  9. Yeah , thx for those. Won't be spending much and even the labour won't be too bad. All l wanna do is something like Marty's idea. And the cabin, thinking just get it all working again, shower, solar, dunny, small kitchen needs some stuff. It'd make a fantastic wkender, holidays, something to stay in while they build themselves a a house, whatever their thoughts. lt's transportable and there's plenty of room and spots so they can move it or whatever if they'd like to put a house where it sits atm, tis the best spot must admit. Won't take much at all to bring it back thing was, the moron renting it before stripped it and stole stuff, atm l'm just left it as is. Reckon to sell though, bring it back, tidy up round the place, that drive ideas a beauty too, it sorta has one but it's just a track over grass really. Put down bucket loads of stone over the yrs but it all keeps disappearing and goes back to grass. Such is incredibly resilient nature eh. Apparently though you have to put different layers to make it last so might make some calls and see about that too. Not a long drive shouldn't cost much. Tidying up fencing and gateway won't coast anything got stuff here. But yeah that sort of thing is all l'm talking, small jobs, should make a helluva difference though.
  10. lt had a bloody ford grill in some parts too, who would even bother making this AI shyt and why ? Not a bad looking car though actually that one whatever it is but it's not even remotely the eh holden.
  11. Loved your cars and bikes eh Nev , good for you. Brother loves bikes he's got bike business. Mum had a Peugeot way back, jesus that thing was nice car , wouldn't know the yr think it was around and 85 or something. l dunno , people don't seem to read much here but have said , plenty to do and have also had hobbies all my life to. Only got back here 3mths ago though as said to haven't had a chance to scratch my arse l'm not even established here. Have gotten a shipload done though at least. Anyway decided l'm doing the cabin up then selling the place if possible. l've started that now should be ready in a few wks and we'll see how she goes.
  12. Actually still love driving especially right car but when and where l choose. Having to do 3-4-500 a wk, town, hobbies, visiting, is another matter
