Folks,

I am (was) running Ubuntu 17.x

Just recently it updated itself to 18.04.

I have some "scripts" (.sh) files that worked.

Now, when I run them, I get errors:

./foo.sh: /usr/share/bashdb/bashdb-main.inc: No such file or directory

./foo.sh: warning: cannot start debugger; debugging mode disabled

Ok, the script "works" but some don't. (Like remote mounting.)

I'm guessing it needs/wants the debugger.

I am stuffed if I can work out how to get/install debugger.

sudo apt install bashdb

Reading package lists... Done

Building dependency tree

Reading state information... Done

E: Unable to locate package bashdb

The tablet is giving me grief and I am not interestex in booting tbe windoze machine for two reasons, it is stinking hot and it takes too long to boot and shut down. My fault? gee, I don think so.

Other people reading the thread then also said to use online translators. Why is it that instead of saying nothing and "leaving well enough alone" people have to be so ...... arrogant to not really help rather tell me what to do as thouh i hadnt alrewady though of it. Yes the spelling sucks, as the ablet doesnt have real keys. Get over it. Good news though, I did find someone who COULD (AND DID) HELP!

Ifmthat is a real reflection of who you are, I strongly suggest you take a good look in the mirror. I have enough iterpersonal problems myself, that I do not need people to reenforce the already bad examples I have.

I think robbo was being a bit too smart for his own good. As then stated, I am suing a tablet and having grief using it on this web site. Strange not on others. posting replies is painful and it crashed my browser 3 times. I asked and, to me, got unhelpful replies. oh, I also tried to send him but am "not allowed", so could you please explain why I am the bad one.

So, with all the replies, no one is prepared to help other than fob me off, rather than saying they speak German and be prepared to indulge me this "favour". :(

It is 192.168.0.200 and 201 for the two of them.

That's what I put in my browser to get to them.

There there is a log in sequence and then I navigate to the page to shut them down.

Each different - of course.

The name of the software? They came with their own "O/S" and it gives me a web page.

I log into that web page and enter "my" username and password then get to a page with a shut down button.

I'm guessing they are running LINUX (or equivellant?) and so it shouldn't be that hard.

Just knowing if I use TELNET, PUTTY, SSH, (what ever) to do it and they syntax.

That's beyond me as I am only starting on that sort of thing.
