  1. I found the coordinates for 'Marree Man' in South Austalia, but time and weather have done their thing so the image on Google earth can't be seen unless you use old data.

    Check it out here 29 32' 03.76" S, 137 28' 05.08" E if you are interested.

  2. Hi Pud,In Google Earth when viewing scene, I just went to File, save image, to documents or pictures, then when you are about to post, click upload file from documents or where ever you saved it, and attach it to post and it should come up.

I'm no computer guru, but I hope this helps.

    Thanks planey,

I'm trying to find 'Marree Man' on Google Earth - when I do I'll try out what you said.

  3. I've forgotten how to take a snapshot off Google Earth, but try these co-ordinates. The image is getting very hard to see as it was done many years ago now.

Readymix sign just North of the highway on the Nullabor Plain 32degrees 13 minutes 00 seconds South and 125 degrees 21 minutes 40 seconds East

  4. Yeah, thanks.

    So it may be:

    Fly Darwin - The rock.

    Look around.

    Stay there and have fun.

Fly from the rock to Syd.

How about fly Darwin to Alice, spend time looking around for a day or 2 - plenty to see in the area will keep you busy for more than a few days if you have the time. Air museum is worth a look around. Fly or bus or hire (if possible one way) to the rock, then fly to Sydney.

  5. Good topic Mark11,

My take on it is that you can make all the business plans you want, do all the research, develop the app (or whatever it is you want to do). But don't forget you have to be 'at the work face' each and every day, because that is what keeps the money coming in. Neglect this at your peril!

  6. Yep, flying ain't so bad.

On Monday my brother and his mates were getting ready to go fishing in my brother's boat. His mate hit the starter and the boat blew up, he is now in the trauma unit at Royal Perth Hospital where they are working to stop an internal bleed from his liver. He also has a punctured lung, 3 broken ribs and multiple lacerations.

Here's a photo of the boat.
