Yep. What they do is if they update an app for the latest OS, then they make it no longer available for the previous ones, and if you have - say - an iPhone 4 which can't run the latest OS, then you can no longer get those upgraded apps.Yup I have decided to keep my iphone 5 which just ran out of it's 2 year contract. Telstra has told me to be careful of future updates as Apple are sneaky and remove some features on older phones during updates. -
It's also possible that they're heading down the Apple path. When you buy Apple hardware, it has an operating system on it, and it continues to upgrade for the life of the product (or until they stop supporting that piece of hardware, which is the case for both my phone and tablet). Lack of support after a few years nudges you down the path of purchasing new hardware, and guess who's selling that? Apple... Did you notice in the blog that Ian posted to start this thread just how much Microsoft were pushing hardware? :)I worry that the free upgrade will see me free upgrade from a perpetual win 7 license to a 12 month term license win 10....... -
Weather's ok here. I knew it would be, 'cause the planes U/S. If it were in flying condition, *then* it would be raining...

When you look at this one, swing up a couple of nm to the north west to Alconbury airport (presumably where the bomber was headed) and have a look at the western end of the runway. Trusting souls...go to this google earth location and it it doesnt come up go to historical imagery and select 12/2003 -
Notice the closing credits? It took longer to build than the average home-built aircraft, (but wasn't that crankshaft a thing of beauty!).

Geez Tomo, I reckon that your one on the crappy phone is miles better than the one taken with all the flash gear (unless you knobbled it to make yours look better...

On the other hand, if $$ are not too much of a worry, do the bridge climb. Dusk is the best time there too for much the same reasons, but it's also the most expensive and most booked out.
