We put five kids through university in Melbourne without having to live there. I would be in the Riverina given a choice, but SWMBO likes central Vic. -
At the end of the movie The Majestic, Jim Carey makes a speech along the lines that some things are worth fighting and dying for. Problems like Iran cannot be resolved by diplomacy, it will take a hot war and a coalition that is prepared to both kill the enemy and lose some of its own people. It will happen sooner or later. Meanwhile we get atrocities like Hamas. I support everything the Israelis are doing.

This should be in the Gripes thread but I haven’t got my glasses. Just got up for a wee at the camp ground , got to the lock on the dunny door but didn’t have my glasses, peed my Jami’s while I was trying combinations. Should have gone behind a tree but they were defended by kangaroos.

Our dentist sends a reminder to my wife to send Peter in for a checkup. They have done it for years. I like it that way, because when I ignore it she gets the further reminders.
